Advertising policy
Advertising must be visible, separate and responsible.
Paid advertising may support Attach Planet, but it must not be presented as independent editorial judgement or allowed to conceal information a reader needs.
Our advertising rules
Clear identification
Advertisements should be labelled or presented in a way that a reasonable reader can distinguish from Attach Planet guidance, comparisons and tools.
No bought editorial conclusion
Buying advertising does not entitle an advertiser to a favourable review, hidden drawback, preferred comparison position or false claim of endorsement.
Appropriate claims
Advertisers remain responsible for their claims. We may reject or remove advertising that appears unlawful, deceptive, unsafe, discriminatory or inconsistent with reader trust.
Reasonable placement
Advertising should not be deliberately designed to look like a navigation control, calculator result, download button or editorial recommendation.
Data, targeting and third parties
Advertising services may use cookies or similar technologies for delivery, measurement or targeting. Non-essential technologies should not be introduced without the information and consent controls required for the intended use. See our cookie policy and privacy policy.
An advertisement may lead to a third-party website. The advertiser controls its own products, prices, eligibility, contracts, security and privacy practices. Readers should check those terms before acting.
Commercial transparency
Advertising revenue and editorial work should be operationally separated as far as practical. Material advertiser involvement in a page must be disclosed. Paid collaborations that resemble editorial content are governed by our sponsored content policy.
For an explanation of other possible revenue models, read how Attach Planet makes money.
Report a problematic advert.
Send the page address, advertiser or screenshot and explain why the advert appears misleading, unsafe or insufficiently identified.
